Pricing
The cookie banner is a capability of the same Agreely platform, billed separately. It was born inside the Law 25 platform: same account, same login, same verifiable proof. But it has its own price, independent of any plan: a plan does not unlock banner sites, and you can just as well use the banner on its own, without the rest of the platform. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), billed annually and shown as a monthly equivalent. No rebates: the price shown is the price paid.
What is a load?
A load is counted each time a page loads and the Agreely script fetches the banner configuration to apply the visitor's choice, whether or not the banner is displayed. In practice, this number is close to your page view count.
One price per site, the same for every account
The banner is not part of a plan's price: it has its own pricing, the same for every account, whatever Law 25 plan you hold (or none).

Every site you bring live takes one place at $15/month. The per-site price is flat: no multi-site discount, no matter how many sites. There is no free site and no trial for the banner: you buy places, then assign them to your sites. (The visitor-facing "Customize" button for consent choices exists on every site.)
Subscribing to a Law 25 plan does not change this price: the plan and the banner are paid for independently. They live on the same platform and complement each other, but each has its own invoice.
Existing free sites. The free Discovery site (5,000 loads/month, in Agreely's colors with the "Powered by Agreely" credit) is no longer offered for new sites. A site already served on that tier keeps working, in Agreely's colors, as long as no place is assigned to it.
Load caps are soft: exceeding one triggers an invitation to move up a tier, but the banner never goes dark and never falls back to essential-only mode for a quota or billing reason. An unpaid renewal stays an open invoice in your Billing: nothing restricts your banner automatically. If your account leaves Agreely and your workspace is closed, the banner does not go dark either: it keeps enforcing your last published configuration, refuses every non-essential cookie and shows a notice that tells the visitor so (never silent tracker allowance).
Buy, create, assign: three distinct steps
Banner billing follows three separate steps. This split avoids any surprise: creating a site never triggers a payment.
- Buy places (in Billing). Under Billing, in the banner app, you buy a number of paid places. This is the only place you pay: the purchase issues an annual invoice (prorated if you add places mid-term), payable by card or by transfer. Buying a place creates no site: it adds capacity to your account.
- Create a site (on the Dashboard). Click Add a website and enter your domain. If a purchased place is free, it is assigned to the new site at no extra cost. If no place is free, creation is blocked with a message inviting you to buy a place in Billing first: there is never an inline payment on the site-creation screen.
- Assign a place (in the site settings). Under your site > Settings, you assign a free place to a site, or you remove it to reuse it elsewhere. Assigning costs nothing extra: it is the purchase, at step 1, that was already billed.
In short: you buy capacity in Billing, you create sites on the Dashboard, you assign places in Settings.
At renewal, you choose in Billing how many places the next term carries, or not to renew them. If your paid places become fewer than the sites holding one, the most recently assigned sites fall back to the Discovery tier: they keep serving the banner, in Agreely's colors.
Banner-only signup
You can use the cookie banner without activating the rest of the Agreely
platform (consent management, API, SDK). Sign up directly at
cookies.agreely.ca/signup (or app.agreely.ca/signup?product=cookies); it
takes you to the banner app with a guided flow: add a site, install and verify
the tag, design the banner, invite a colleague. To bring a site live, buy a
place first.
The core platform features (catalog, consent requests, SDK, CLI) remain available if you want to use them later, without changing account.
